Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tsp of sugar
- 1/2 cup of shortening
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 4 tsp of baking powder
- 1 cup of sweet milk
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients and add shortening using a pastry blender.
- Make a well and pour in about 2/3 cup of the milk. Stir dough until it follows the fork, then add the rest of the milk if needed.
- Knead very gently and fold gently about 8-10 times.
- Roll or pat out dough, then cut.
- Bake in a 450-degree oven for 12-15 minutes.
