Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup of cold water
- 1 1/2 cups of cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup of hot water
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp of salt
- 6 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
- 6 onion slices (optional)
Instructions
- Place egg yolks, salt, and cold water in a bowl. Beat well.
- Heat 1/4 cup of Crisco in a frying pan.
- Dip pork chops in egg mixture, then into crumbs. Brown well on both sides.
- Place chops in a baking dish.
- Place onion slice on each chop and add hot water and lemon juice.
- Cover and bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
