
Ingredients
- 9 oz shortening
- 9 oz sugar
- 6 1/2 oz brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 9 oz flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 9 oz oatmeal (I use 5 min Quaker Oats)
- 5 oz sweet choc. chips
Instructions
- Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla together.
- Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix well.
- Add oatmeal and chocolate chips.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
