Ingredients
- 1/2 of a Dutch oven full of fresh green beans, washed and snapped
- 1/2 pound of bacon
- 1 onion
- Salt
Instructions
- Cover beans with water and add bacon, salt, and onion.
- Boil until soft.
- You can cook beans just in water and add the bacon and onion after you have browned them in a skillet.
- Cook for a little while to release the bacon flavor.
