Ingredients
- 1 package German Chocolate Cake Mix
- 16 oz margarine
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix dry cake mix, coconut, margarine, and 1 egg. Press into bottom of ungreased 9x12-inch pan.
- Beat cream cheese with remaining 2 eggs, vanilla, and sugar until smooth. Pour over cake mix in pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Let cake cool.
- Refrigerate at least 8 hours; the longer the better.
