Hershey Cocoa Fudge

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 2/3 cup of Hershey Cocoa
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk (evaporated)
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • Chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Stir in milk and bring to a bubbling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Cook to 234 degrees or soft ball stage.
  4. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  5. Beat until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss.
  6. Quickly spread into a lightly buttered pan.
  7. Chopped walnuts are optional.
