Mandarin Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix (Duncan Hines)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup Wesson oil
  • 1 can mandarin oranges (cut in 1/2) with juice
  • 1 12 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (drain some of the juice)
  • 1 sm vanilla instant pudding mix (3 1/2 oz)

Instructions

  1. Mix by hand.
  2. Grease and flour 3 ea 9" pie pans.
  3. Pour equal amounts of mixture into pans.
  4. Bake at 350 till brown.
  5. After cakes have cooled, turn over, bottom side up and top side down.
  6. Usually make the icing ahead of time so it can get good and thick.
  7. Combine all and assemble 3 layer cake.
  8. Keep refrigerated.
