Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1 cup of dark brown sugar
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of drained, crushed pineapple
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tsp. of baking soda
- 1 tsp. of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. of salt
- Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Cream sugars and butter well.
- Beat in eggs thoroughly.
- Add pineapple, vanilla, and part of the flour mixed with the salt, soda, and baking powder.
- Add remainder of flour mixture.
- Bake at 400 degrees until lightly browned, about 12 minutes.
