Ingredients
- 1 cup of shortening or buttered flavored Crisco
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups of flour
- 4 tsp. of baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. of salt
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
- 4 tbsp. of cream
Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugars together.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
- Add cream and vanilla.
- Add to creamed mixture.
- Mix well and chill for 20 minutes.
- Roll out very thin, cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake in preheated 400-degree oven for about 10 minutes.
- Bake same size of cookie. (Yields about 5 dozen medium-sized cookies.)
