Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • Round steak
  • 1 can of tomatoes with juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Diced onions
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • American cheese

Instructions

  1. Season steak to taste.
  2. Brown steak and set aside.
  3. Add 1 can of tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of flour, and diced onions.
  4. Bring to boil for a few minutes and pour over steak which has been placed in a baking pan.
  5. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Remove from oven and add cheese.
  7. Continue to bake covered for 1/2 hour.
